ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Sanitation Supervisor to lead our cleaning operations within our large-scale food production facility. This role is responsible for ensuring that all production areas, machinery, and surrounding spaces meet the highest levels of cleanliness and food safety.
This role is PERMANENT PART TIME - Friday and Saturday at this location, however, for the right candidate, we can offer further days at another site.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
· Lead and coordinate the daily activities of the sanitation team, ensuring all cleaning schedules
· Ensure 100% compliance with food safety laws and internal protocols. Manage the safe handling, titration, and storage of industrial chemicals.
· Act as the primary liaison between the Quality Assurance (QA) department and the production floor to resolve hygiene-related issues immediately.
· Conduct electronic Quality Assurance reporting to ensure completed and compliant works.
· Develop and deliver training programs for staff regarding SOPs, chemical safety, Toolbox Talks, and high hygiene standards.
WHAT WE NEED:
- Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Supervisor in a food production environment or Sanitation area
- An uncompromising approach to cleanliness – Nothing is overlooked to prevent cross contamination
- Must have strong knowledge of sanitation standards, food safety regulations (HACCP, GMP), and health and safety practices preferred.
- Sound communication skills both written and verbal
