ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a proactive leader to oversee sanitation operations within our high-risk food production facilities. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise in QA reporting, HACCP, GMP, and Chemical Safety with the ability to lead a team with speed and purpose. They will be an expert trainer, capable of teaching efficient cleaning methodologies while remaining comfortable being "hands-on" when the situation demands. Strong communication skills are essential for managing both internal team dynamics and client relationships. Monday - Friday role.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

·      Lead and coordinate the daily activities of the sanitation team, ensuring all cleaning schedules

·      Ensure 100% compliance with food safety laws and internal protocols. Manage the safe handling, titration, and storage of industrial chemicals.

·      Act as the primary liaison between the Quality Assurance (QA) department and the production floor to resolve hygiene-related issues immediately.

·      Conduct electronic Quality Assurance reporting to ensure completed and compliant works.

·      Develop and deliver training programs for staff regarding SOPs, chemical safety, Toolbox Talks, and high hygiene standards.    

WHAT WE NEED:

  • Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Supervisor in a food production environment or Sanitation area
  • An uncompromising approach to cleanliness – Nothing is overlooked to prevent cross contamination
  • Must have strong knowledge of sanitation standards, food safety regulations (HACCP, GMP), and health and safety practices preferred.
  • Sound communication skills both written and verbal
