Food Production Cleaner

Kensington | Monday to Friday | 6:00am – 2:00pm | Stable Daytime Hours

About the Role

You’ll be part of a team responsible for keeping food production areas clean, hygienic and ready for use.

The work is practical, hands-on and physically demanding, with much of the cleaning completed using pressurised air hoses and industrial vacuuming equipment. You will be working throughout the production environment to remove flour, food particles, dust and other residue from floors, machinery, equipment, platforms, structures and hard-to-reach areas.

The environment can be dusty, noisy and physically demanding, and the role requires someone who is comfortable working in a tough factory environment, getting their hands dirty and taking pride in doing a thorough job.

• 6:00am – 2:00pm

What You’ll Be Doing

Your day-to-day work will mainly involve:

• Using pressurised air hoses to clean production areas and equipment.
• Vacuuming floors, surfaces and production areas.
• Removing food particles, dust and other residue.
• Keeping work areas clean and tidy.
• Following established cleaning routines and instructions.
• Working with your team to make sure cleaning is completed properly and on time.
• Following food hygiene and workplace safety requirements.

About You

We’re looking for people with a good attitude who are reliable, safety conscious and comfortable with hands-on work.

You’ll ideally:

• Be available Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm.
• Have previous cleaning experience, ideally in food production, manufacturing or a similar environment.
• Be comfortable using pressurised air hoses and vacuuming equipment.
• Be comfortable undertaking physical and repetitive work.
• Be reliable and punctual.
• Have good attention to detail.
• Be able to follow instructions and established cleaning routines.
• Enjoy working as part of a team.
• Understand the importance of cleanliness and hygiene in a food production environment.
• Be comfortable working in a rugged industrial environment and performing repetitive physical tasks.
