About the Role

We are seeking a Part-Time Public Area Cleaner to join our team at a premier 5-star hotel on the Gold Coast. In this role, you’ll be responsible for keeping the hotel’s shared spaces immaculate and welcoming, ensuring guests enjoy the highest standards of comfort and presentation.


This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, has an eye for detail, and enjoys contributing to a polished and professional environment.


Rotating Roster/Hours: 4x3 0800-1500 and 1500-2300- Across Monday-Sunday

Location: Broadbeach, Gold Coast


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness of public areas including lobbies, restrooms, hallways, lifts, and other shared spaces.
  • Ensure all areas meet the hotel’s high presentation standards and are safe, tidy, and inviting for guests.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.
  • Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safe work practices at all times.


Are you the right fit?

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience in public area or commercial cleaning (preferred, but not essential).
  • Is reliable, proactive, and takes pride in creating a clean and welcoming environment.
  • Can work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Has flexibility to work across a part-time roster, including weekends and public holidays when required.
  • Can adhere to all company policies, procedures, standards, and safe work practices at all times.
