About the Role

We’re seeking a professional and proactive Part-Time Security Officer to join our team at Sydney’s CBD prominent commercial and education precinct, that hosts government offices, retail spaces, and public facilities.

In this role, you’ll play a vital part in maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors, and tenants. You’ll be responsible for carrying out routine patrols, monitoring CCTV systems, managing access control, and responding promptly to incidents or security concerns.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

  • Conducting regular foot patrols throughout the premises
  • Responding to and managing incidents in a calm and professional manner
  • Overseeing key and swipe card management
  • Monitoring CCTV footage and maintaining accurate security reports
  • Assisting with contractor access and compliance

Licenses/Certifications & Skills:

  • Current NSW Security Licence - 1A Classification (Required)
  • Current First Aid and CPR certifications (Required)
  • Certificate II in Security Operations
  • Police Check (Required)
  • Strong situational awareness and ability to identify potential risks
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with tenants, visitors, and contractors
  • Professional presentation and conduct at all times
  • Sound knowledge of security procedures, access control, and incident reporting
