Scheduler – In Home Cleaning

Full Time | Monday to Friday | Port Melbourne office

About the Role

As a Scheduler, you’ll play an important role in coordinating the day-to-day delivery of in-home cleaning services. Reporting to the Scheduling Manager, you’ll help ensure clients receive reliable and consistent services by keeping staff schedules and rosters organised and responding quickly when changes are needed.

The role involves coordinating staff allocations, maintaining and adjusting rosters, resolving scheduling conflicts and supporting the team to ensure client needs are met. You’ll also assist with timesheet processing, reporting and compliance requirements while looking for ways to improve workforce coordination and service delivery.

You’ll work closely with the in-home cleaning team and internal stakeholders, providing guidance and support to help keep schedules running smoothly.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your day-to-day work will mainly involve:

  • Coordinating client service schedules and staff rosters, ensuring staff are allocated effectively and client needs are met.
  • Provide scheduling support to the in-home cleaning team, ensuring staff are allocated appropriately to meet client needs. 
  • Keep schedules running smoothly by monitoring rosters, making adjustments, resolving conflicts and responding to changes as they arise.
  • Assist with scheduling administration and improvements, including timesheet processing, reporting, and supporting the Scheduling Manager with process improvements.


About You

We’re looking for someone with a good attitude who is reliable, organised and comfortable managing changing priorities.

You’ll ideally:

  • Have experience in workforce scheduling, rostering or coordination.
  • Have experience with scheduling and workforce management systems, with preference for Skedulo, Deputy and Salesforce.
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with staff, clients and stakeholders.
  • Be able to problem-solve, adapt to changing schedules and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Have an understanding of workforce planning, compliance requirements and relevant employment regulations.
  • Be highly organised with strong attention to detail, a proactive approach and a commitment to service excellence.
  • Understanding of cleaning operations desirable.
