Challenger Services Group is seeking reliable and motivated Food Production Cleaners to join our growing team within a large-scale food manufacturing environment. In this role, you'll help ensure production equipment, machinery, and work areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety.

With a consistent Friday afternoon shift, this role is ideal for those seeking supplementary income, work-life balance, or an opportunity to gain experience within the food manufacturing industry.

Shift Time: Friday 3:30pm - 11:30pm

Location: Rooty Hill, NSW

What You'll Be Doing

As a Food Production Cleaner, you'll be responsible for:

• Deep cleaning and sanitising food processing machinery and equipment.
• Cleaning production lines, packaging equipment, and manufacturing areas.
• Safely using food-grade cleaning chemicals and sanitation products.
• Operating washdown and cleaning equipment.
• Following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety procedures.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant production environment.
• Working collaboratively with your team to meet hygiene and cleaning schedules.

About You

You'll be someone who:

• Has previous cleaning, sanitation, food production, or manufacturing experience (preferred but not essential).
• Is comfortable working in an active factory environment
• Have knowledge of HACCP and GMP
• Have a good understanding of the WH&S processes
• Has strong attention to detail and a commitment to food safety.
• Is reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Have a good understanding of cleaning chemicals and their correct and safe handling
• Physically fit with the ability to perform scrubbing under machinery, lifting and working at heights
• Sound communication skills
