About the role:

We are seeking reliable and safety-conscious individuals to join our team as Autoclave Operators at our Mascot site. This critical role involves operating large-scale industrial machinery used to sterilize bio-security waste.

This position is based within a dedicated quarantined room, requiring strict adherence to bio-security protocols and environmental controls. It is a physical, hands-on role essential to maintaining the high safety standards of the facility.

Shift Availability

We are looking for candidates to cover:

• Afternoon Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Weekend availability is highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate large-scale autoclave machinery within a quarantined environment.
• Monitor machine cycles and document results to ensure compliance with bio-security protocols.
• Complete production, sterilisation and compliance documentation accurately.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and basic troubleshooting.
• Handle and transport waste materials efficiently while maintaining the integrity of the quarantine zone.
• Report equipment faults, safety concerns, or process deviations to supervisors.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant work environment by strictly adhering to all site-specific safety and hygiene standards.

• Relevant Experience: Experience in manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, industrial cleaning, sanitation, production, or machinery operation is advantageous but not essential.
