State Operations Manager – Services

We are looking for a State Operations Manager – Services (QLD) to lead performance, strengthen client partnerships and build operational capability across a geographically dispersed workforce.

This is a senior, autonomous role with accountability for service delivery, profitability, retention and growth across the state.

 What you’ll be responsible for

  • Leading state-wide operational performance against key KPIs
  • Ensuring contracted services are delivered to a consistently high standard.
  • Driving profitability through disciplined cost and workforce management
  • Strengthening client relationships to support retention and expansion
  • Identifying and converting new business opportunities
  • Building capability across teams through coaching, structure and leadership
  • Overseeing reporting, compliance and operational governance

 What we’re looking for

  • Proven leadership experience in commercial cleaning or a similar service environment
  • Strong operational and financial acumen
  • A practical, hands-on leadership style with high accountability
  • Ability to lead dispersed teams and drive consistency at scale.
  • Confident stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
  • Sound understanding of safety, compliance and workforce management.
