About the Role

Join a leading food manufacturing facility as our next Sanitation Supervisor, where you’ll lead critical cleaning operations and champion food safety excellence. This full-time, site-based role runs Monday to Friday, with occasional flexibility to meet production demands. It’s a hands-on leadership position with a strong focus on hygiene, compliance, and maintaining the highest food safety standards.

You’ll be the driving force behind a motivated sanitation team, setting the standard, leading by example, and ensuring compliance with GMP, HACCP, and WH&S.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead sanitation operations and maintain compliance with GMP, HACCP, and WH&S standards.
  • Be hands-on working closely with your team to uphold hygiene and safety protocols.
  • Manage and coach your team to achieve consistent, high-quality results.
  • Oversee rosters, incident reporting, chemical safety, and stock control.
  • Prepare and maintain SOPs, SWMS, and other compliance documentation.
  • Respond to client feedback and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct training sessions and internal audits to keep quality on point.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to uphold the highest food safety standards.

About You

You’re a practical, hands-on leader who takes ownership and gets things done.

You’ll bring:

  • Solid experience in food manufacturing sanitation.
  • Deep understanding of GMP, HACCP, and food safety compliance.
  • Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate high-performing teams.
  • Experience developing and implementing SOPs/SWMS.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong commitment to Workplace Health & Safety (WH&S).
  • Bonus: Internal Auditor qualification or experience in food safety audits.
