ABOUT THE ROLE:
We’re seeking a proactive and decisive Food Production & Sanitation Supervisor to oversee sanitation operations across high‑risk food production facilities.
This role combines technical food safety expertise with strong, visible leadership. You’ll be responsible for driving hygiene standards, training teams in best‑practice cleaning methods, and ensuring all compliance requirements are met, while remaining comfortable stepping in and leading from the front when needed.
This is a Monday to Friday role, ideal for someone wanting stability, responsibility, and long‑term career growth.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead and coordinate daily sanitation operations across the facility
- Ensure cleaning schedules are completed efficiently and to standard
- Maintain 100% compliance with food safety regulations and site protocols
- Manage safe handling, titration, and storage of industrial cleaning chemicals
- Act as the key liaison between Quality Assurance (QA) and production teams
- Complete electronic QA and compliance reporting
- Train, coach, and mentor staff on SOPs, chemical safety, hygiene standards, and toolbox talks
WHAT WE NEED:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience supervising sanitation or cleaning teams (food production or high‑hygiene environments essential)
- Strong working knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards
- High attention to detail with a zero‑tolerance approach to cross‑contamination
- Confident communicator with the ability to lead diverse teams
- Comfortable balancing leadership, compliance, and hands‑on work
