About the Role:
As Kitchen Stewarding Supervisor, you'll be a vital part of our Food & Beverage operations, working closely with the Chief Steward to lead a large, dynamic team. From rosters and training to hygiene and compliance, you'll ensure everything runs like clockwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support the daily operations of the stewarding team
- Manage rosters, delegate duties, and handle key admin tasks
- Train new team members and uphold high standards of service and safety
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene across all kitchen areas
- Maintain compliance with HACCP and WHS protocols
- Oversee the upkeep of dishwashing equipment and tools
- Keep kitchen storerooms organized and well-stocked
- Use and manage cleaning products safely and effectively
What we're looking for:
- Previous leadership experience in a 4–5-star hotel or high-volume F&B setting
- Strong working knowledge of food safety (HACCP) and WHS protocols
- Proven ability to meet high service and quality standards under pressure
- Flexible availability (7-day rotating roster)
- A motivated, reliable team player with a strong attention to detail
