Role Purpose:

The Assistant Executive Housekeeper is a driving force behind the impeccable environments our guests expect. Leading with confidence and precision, this role inspires the housekeeping team to deliver flawless presentation and exceptional service. Partnering closely with the Executive Housekeeper, they champion high standards, strong leadership and attention to detail—shaping an atmosphere of effortless luxury and elevating the guest experience at every touchpoint.

This full-time position reports to our Executive Housekeeper and includes duties such as:

• Support the Executive Housekeeper in overseeing the seamless daily operations of the Housekeeping Department.
• Assume full leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper, ensuring continuity of standards and service excellence.
• Monitor and elevate the performance, presentation and professionalism of the housekeeping team, with a strong focus on training, coaching and collaboration.
• Contribute to departmental goals, budgets, schedules and operational policies that align with the hotel’s broader vision and brand values.
• Assist in financial forecasting, budget preparation and cost management activities to support operational efficiency.
• Participate in the recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management of team members, fostering a culture of growth and recognition.
• Adhere to all Company policies, including Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Work Health and Safety (WHS) and Harassment in the Workplace.

• Proven experience in a supervisory/managerial role in housekeeping operations in the hotel industry 
• Strong leadership skills and a natural flair in motivating others 
• A passion for developing your team skills in all aspects of onboarding and training
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills together with a guest service focus 
• You will have a proactive, solutions-focused approach with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and guest requirements
• You will be highly accountable and resilient, with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure while maintaining composure, professionalism and brand standards
• The ability to work across a full-time schedule

NOTE: We are seeking permanent residents who are residing in Brisbane, Australia and are looking for career longevity.
