An exciting opportunity now exists for an experienced People & Culture Manager to join the leadership team at Crystalbrook Sam, our newest hotel opening in Adelaide.

This is a pivotal pre-opening role responsible for building the people foundations that will shape the culture, capability and performance of the hotel from day one.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the General Manager, with a strong partnership to the Group People & Culture team, the People & Culture Manager will lead all people and culture initiatives for the hotel.

You will play a critical role in recruiting and onboarding the opening team, embedding Crystalbrook’s values and creating a workplace where Collaborators feel supported, inspired and empowered to deliver exceptional experiences.

From workforce planning and leadership coaching to compliance, engagement and capability development, you will ensure the hotel operates with strong people practices that support both performance and culture.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the pre-opening recruitment and onboarding strategy for Crystalbrook Sam
  • Partner with the Group People & Culture team to build a high-performing, values-aligned culture
  • Provide trusted advice and coaching to leaders across performance, engagement and development
  • Drive workforce planning, talent development and succession capability
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, awards and company policies
  • Champion initiatives that enhance Collaborator engagement and wellbeing
  • Support the implementation of Crystalbrook’s People & Culture strategy and programs

About You

You are an experienced People & Culture leader within hospitality who understands the pace, complexity and energy of hotel operations.

You bring strong commercial awareness, sound HR judgement and the ability to build trusted relationships with leaders and teams alike.

Most importantly, you are energised by the opportunity to build a team from the ground up, shaping the culture and capability that will define the success of a new hotel
