The Opportunity:

We are looking for a skilled Chef de Partie to join our team, where you will be inspired to produce the highest quality food experience for our guests working with and for an exceptional brigade and creating flavors with vibrancy and excitement.   

This is a full-time position, permanent position.

  • Supervise all talent under leadership and delegate preparation and daily tasks
  • Maintain the highest hygiene standards in the kitchen area as demanded by food and health regulations
  • Coordinate closely with the Executive Chef in determining quality and quantity of food materials to be purchased and prepared
  • Prevent and eliminate wastage of all produce by reviewing all materials used in kitchens
  • Supervise quality of all food prepared under supervision, checking for taste, temperature and visual appeal
  • Check maintenance of all equipment located in the areas under supervision and make every attempt to prevent damages or losses of hotel property

We are seeking individuals with passion for food and who are driven and creative and display:

  • A lead by example attitude - collectively team focused, fostering collaboration and inclusion 
  • Academic achievement with a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery 
  • A creative and varied portfolio of cooking experience in high end kitchens 
  • The inherent ability to manage relevant stock levels 
  • An ambition on sustainable practices - farm to table sourcing
  • A healthy respect for workplace health and safety practices and procedures
  • Natural leadership capability - happy to train and support junior members of the kitchen brigade
