  • Join a bold, sustainably minded hotel group redefining luxury hospitality
  • Take your service skills poolside at a five-star hotel in the heart of Cairns
  • Enjoy industry-leading benefits, tailored training and career opportunities across Crystalbrook Collection

Crystalbrook Riley is a five-star luxury hotel in Cairns, where contemporary elegance meets a relaxed, tropical spirit.

Always living in the moment, Crystalbrook Riley brings together striking design, thoughtful luxury and a strong connection to place. With an environmentally conscious approach, a celebration of the contemporary and a passion for elevated guest experiences, Crystalbrook Riley offers sophisticated accommodation, vibrant dining, distinctive events and memorable moments shaped by the energy, colour and spirit of Cairns.

Bold, stylish and effortlessly welcoming, Crystalbrook Riley is more than a hotel. It is a place to connect, celebrate and experience luxury with personality.

The Opportunity

Join Crystalbrook Riley as a Food & Beverage Attendant, with a focus on poolside service. Some guests are ready for a cold drink after a swim. Others are settling in for lunch by the water. A warm welcome, a well-timed recommendation and attentive service help them make the most of their time by the pool.

As the poolside area fills, you will take orders, serve food and drinks and work closely with the bar and kitchen to keep service moving. You will communicate dietary requests clearly, handle payments and keep tables and service stations ready throughout the day. The pace can pick up quickly, and the care you bring to each guest helps the experience feel as relaxed as the setting.

This role is offered on a part-time, permanent basis, with an expected 16-24 hours per week.

The Talent

You enjoy working outdoors and have a feel for when to check in with a guest and when to give them space to unwind. You are comfortable recommending something from the menu, stay organised when orders build and notice when a teammate needs a hand.

You will bring:

  • Previous front-of-house food and beverage experience.
  • Confidence taking orders, recommending food and drinks, and processing payments.
  • Clear communication and a warm, professional approach to guests and teammates.
  • An eye for presentation and pride in keeping outdoor service areas welcoming.
  • Comfort working outdoors, spending time on your feet and carrying trays during service.
  • A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate valid in Queensland.
  • Availability across a seven-day roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
  • Experience in a hotel resort or outdoor dining venue will be well regarded.
