Role Purpose:
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Night-time Auditor for Crystalbrook Kingsley. Reporting to the Night Manager, you understand how important our guest services are and be confident to acknowledge challenges that can occur in a hotel environment at night. You will work effectively in a small team and be the type of person who thrives in a varied position and is self-accountable.
Responsibilities:
- Liaising with Finance frequently to ensure the necessary information is being reviewed. Complete all Finance reporting thoroughly and accurately and ensure the distribution of reporting is on time.
- Perform duties including registration and departure of guests, report generation, room allocation and guest request action. Assist with reservations and incoming phone calls when required. Responding to guest feedback both positive and negative.
- Meet and greet guests on arrival to hotel and be aware of any VIP, long stay and return guests staying in the hotel.
- Communicate regularly with Housekeeping on commencement of shift with regards to room status, room changes and availability.
- Follow the properties service flow process complete in room registration procedures
- Assist guests with every request. If not able to provide an answer on a matter direct to the appropriate management as required
- Provide information regarding the Hotel and local area in a prompt and well-researched response
- Provide all guests of the hotel with a high level of friendly, courteous and personalised efficient service and always referred to by name
- Be aware of all functions and any activities being conducted in the Hotel upon commencing shift
- Assist with the compilation of guest profiles by noting and recording relevant information about guest habits and preferences
Skills and experience:
- Experience with KPI's and Budgets within the hotel industry.
- Previous Hotel Front Office experience is desirable but not essential.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
- Natural leadership skills and the ability with communicate professionally
- The ability to work with Opera and a general understanding of hotel operations.
- A personality to rival any sunrise you will see!
- You can balance the requirements of night shifts and are seeking regular shifts across a 7 day Roster.
