Role Purpose:

We are seeking an experienced Hotel Front Office Manager who is proactive, positive, solution-oriented and able to maintain composure while focusing on exceptional service. The role will lead our effective, guest-centered team and reports to the Hotel General Manager.

  • Driving guest satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and guest experience
  • Development of talent within your team - rostering, coaching, mentoring and advancing a high-performance team
  • A willingness to work across a 7-day roster that may include weekends, public holidays and nights
  • Effective contribution within the established Management Team
  • A focused, guest centric approach to service excellence 
  • Manage budget expectations through effective analysis, forecasting and controls bringing financial acumen, cost controls and effective communication tools 

Skills and experience:

We are seeking applications from dynamic and experienced Hotel Front Office Managers. You will naturally demonstrate:

  • A genuine ambition for hotel collaboration with strong business acumen and experience in driving service standards 
  • Recent and demonstrable Hotel Front Office leadership experience
  • Strong leadership skill with the ability to inspire, motivate and develop a team
  • Sound IT capability proficient in multiple software platforms
  • Relevant long term and permanent working rights in Australia 
  • A high standard of customer service focus with a passion for elevating guest journeys 
  • Good financial awareness and an understanding of departmental performance
  • Being a people centric collaborator with a creative spirit and a respectful and engaging approach to developing and maintaining effective working relationships
