Night Auditor

THE ROLE:

We are looking for a truly outstanding Night Auditor to join our collaborative team at Crystalbrook Bailey. Your auditing skills and attention to detail go without saying, as does your passion for people and creating extraordinary guest experiences. You will work effectively in a small team and be the type of person who thrives in a varied position whilst being self-accountable. 

Responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the Night Manager in handling emergency situations and incidents at night
• Auditing the current day trading transactions and ensure that they are properly balanced and posted 
• Exceeding guest needs as they occur during the night shift 
• Accurately identifying any discrepancy which exists between revenue and payments 
• Performing security walks throughout the night
• Performing system back-up and maintenance programs and procedures 
• Delivering our Service Excellence guiding principles
• Providing hands-on support in Front Office and other outlets across the hotel as needed

ABOUT YOU:

Your many talents will include:

• A love of crunching numbers 
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles 
• Understanding of PMS (Opera preferred)
• Proficient in Outlook, Word and Excel
• Previous experience working at night 
• Previous experience in working within a Hotel environment 
• Common sense approach
• A calm approach in challenging and emergency situations 
• Available to consider a minimum of 3 shifts per week (11pm-7am; possible weekends)
