Kick starting your career as an Apprentice Chef at Waymark Hotels is a great way to complete your apprenticeship. Over the 3 years, you’ll get hands-on experience at a vibrant pub in Dalby, while learning the skills, techniques, and standards of cooking to build a solid foundation for a career in hospitality!
Key Responsibilities:
As an Apprentice Chef, your day-to-day duties will include assisting the Head Chef with:
- Preparing and cooking food.
- Portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding garnishes and sauces.
- Ensuring all meals are of high quality and are prepared in a timely manner.
- Utilising a variety of fresh, frozen, and prepared ingredients to prepare, cook and present a range of dishes according to a seasonal menu.
- Practicing effective stock rotation and wastage minimization procedures.
- Assisting our team in maintaining an efficient and proactive kitchen operation.
