What are we looking for?

We are currently seeking applications from enthusiastic and motivated graduate (or up to 2PQE) lawyers to join our Tax & Revenue team. This is an exciting opportunity to help establish our tax team in Sydney as our first team member in this location. You’ll play a key role in supporting our significant NSW client base and will need to be proactive, independent, and comfortable working autonomously, while still being part of a collaborative national team.

We welcome applicants who have:

• Recently graduated (earlier this year), or are due to graduate later in 2026
• Strong academic results in their law degree
• Highly developed analytical and research skills
• Motivation, commercial acumen, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• A genuine interest in tax and revenue law, with a view to developing expertise in this area

What is the role?

As a Graduate Lawyer in our Tax & Revenue team, you’ll receive comprehensive training and mentorship from highly experienced tax practitioners. As the first member of our Sydney tax team, you’ll have the unique opportunity to help shape our presence in NSW, working closely with colleagues in Adelaide and supporting a large and growing NSW client base.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting legal research and preparing technical analyses
• Drafting legal correspondence and advice
• Reviewing and summarising complex documentation
• Attending client meetings and video conferences
• Collaborating with colleagues on technical and commercial matters
• Participating in professional and networking events
