About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Conveyancer to manage a variety of NSW property transactions from start to finish. You’ll be responsible for reviewing and preparing contracts, managing negotiations, and overseeing the process through to settlement and registration.
Key duties include:
- Reviewing purchaser contracts and flagging legal issues.
- Preparing vendor contracts using standard special conditions.
- Managing transactions via PEXA independently.
- Lodging duty applications through EDR/eDuties.
- Preparing and registering dealings with NSW LPI (e.g. leases, transfers, mortgages).
- Coordinating execution of documents via DocuSign and handling registrations.
- Verifying identity using InfoTrack.
- Opening and closing files, conflict checks, invoicing and legal fee payments.
About you
You’re a confident and organised Conveyancer who can manage files independently and knows when to escalate for legal input.
You’ll bring:
- Solid experience managing conveyancing matters end-to-end.
- Proficiency in PEXA and knowledge of NSW LPI processes.
- Strong contract review and preparation skills.
- Familiarity with Revenue NSW duty lodgements.
- Great attention to detail and sound admin skills.
