About our role
Due to an internal transfer, we are seeking an Associate to join our highly regarded Dispute Resolution team, working closely with Hayden Fox. This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse range of complex commercial disputes, including contract disputes, property matters, shareholder issues, intellectual property, construction, financial services, insolvency, fraud and tax disputes.
You will work closely with corporates, directors, shareholders, property developers, government and investors, assisting to develop legal strategies aligned with clients’ commercial objectives.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded disputes lawyer to work on sophisticated matters in a collaborative and high-performing team, while gaining strong mentoring, client exposure and increasing responsibility.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced disputes lawyer with strong commercial litigation experience and a practical, solutions-focused approach. You will have:
- 2+ years PQE in dispute resolution, commercial litigation or a related field
- Experience assisting with or managing complex disputes from initial advice through to resolution
- Strong technical skills across areas such as contract law, property disputes, corporate issues, financial services or insolvency
- A commercial mindset and the ability to develop strategies aligned with clients’ business objectives
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- A proactive, collaborative approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment
