ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Executive Assistant and Board Governance Officer has a key role in the provision of Executive administration and Governance Secretariat support to the Board, to enable an efficient, effective and equitable interface between the health service leaders and the community. While, primary tasks include provision of administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Executive team and the Senior Leadership team, the position will be responsible for the following portfolios:
- Board Governance;
- Grant Register;
- Fundraising Strategy;
- Secretariat support to:
- Board Director Meetings;
- Governance, Remuneration and People and Culture Board Committee;
- Community Health Advisory Group (CHAG);
- People and Culture Leadership Meeting;
- Strategy and Planning Leadership Meeting.

ABOUT YOU:
You will have:
- High level of administration, computer literacy and digital transformation skills, including the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enable an ability to efficiently develop corporate level documentation; (Essential)
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) to ensure positive internal and external relations; (Essential)
- Ability to work efficiently and independently within a multidisciplinary team environment that demands flexibility and being adaptable to change; (Essential)
- Demonstrated commitment to systems thinking, being curious and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) to ensure contemporary functions and a just culture; (Essential)
- Demonstrated skills and knowledge in the philanthropic and grant landscape to enable business development; (Desirable)
- Current Victorian or NSW Driver’s Licence. (Desirable)
