ABOUT THE ROLE:

To assist Allied Health Professionals (AHP) in the provision of patient care in the Acute ward, Residential Care Facility, Outpatients, Gym and in the community, and provide support, information and advice to clients on a range of social welfare matters.

ABOUT YOU:

Essential:

• Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance
• An understanding of client centred care and community health principles
• Excellent communication, time management and interpersonal skills
• An ability to relate comfortably to a wide range of clients
• Ability to work independently and as part of the multi-disciplinary team
• Computer literacy skills
• Demonstrated interest in working with a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to document relevant assessments and evaluate interventions
• The ability to be self-directed and work independently
