Coregas' vision is Changing Gases, Changing Lives. At Coregas, we help our customers achieve amazing things by delivering products, expertise and personal service second to none.

We’re looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Cylinder Filler / Production Operator to join our operations team. This is a practical, hands-on role where you’ll be involved in preparing, inspecting, filling and handling gas cylinders while ensuring our products meet required safety and quality standards.

What you’ll be doing

  • Safely inspect, sort, prepare and fill gas cylinders in line with operating procedures.
  • Identify cylinder types, product labels, codes, test dates and any visible faults.
  • Scan and track cylinders, packs and pallets using handheld scanners.
  • De-valve and re-valve cylinders where required, including conducting relevant inspections.
  • Operate cylinder testing equipment and complete required quality checks.
  • Batch, palletise and prepare customer orders for delivery.
  • Load and unload pallets and trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Operate material-handling equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Complete production, quality and operational paperwork accurately.
  • Support cylinder deliveries to branches, depots and customer sites where required.
  • Identify and report safety hazards, incidents, equipment issues and quality concerns.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment.

What we’re looking for

You’ll be someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes safety seriously and can work effectively as part of a busy operational team.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

  • Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, warehouse, processing or similar operational environment.
  • Experience working within established safety and quality procedures.
  • A strong attention to detail and commitment to getting the job done safely and correctly.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic computer and reporting skills.
  • Ability to read and follow operating procedures and work instructions.
  • A current forklift licence/certification.
  • Knowledge or experience with Dangerous Goods handling, storage or transportation will be highly regarded.
  • A Heavy Rigid (HR) licence where driving responsibilities apply.

About you

You’re dependable, safety-focused and comfortable working in a physical, operational environment. You take accountability for your work, follow procedures carefully and look for ways to improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality.
