The Company: Coregas is the largest Australian owned industrial gases company. We manufacture gases locally and distribute throughout Australia and New Zealand via a network of branches and channel partners. Our talented teams support a wide range of industries. We manufacture and distribute compressed gases and cryogenic liquids to almost all industries, ranging from heavy industry and manufacturing to healthcare and specialty users such as laboratories and hydrogen for fuel.


The Role: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Distribution Scheduler to join our Operations team. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the timely and efficient delivery and pickup of gas cylinders by effectively coordinating schedules, maintaining accurate records, and communicating with drivers, customers, and internal teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain delivery and pickup schedules for gas cylinders.
  • Coordinate with drivers to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
  • Communicate with the customer service team to confirm delivery and pickup times.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and inventory levels.
  • Identify opportunities for improving delivery processes and reducing costs.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate supply of gas cylinders.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Assist in coordinating the maintenance of Coregas cylinder distribution assets.


About you:

  • The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Logistics Management or equivalent, or more than three years of on-the-job experience in logistics, supply chain, or scheduling
  • The candidate should also have experience in customer service and maintaining strong customer relationships
  • A candidate holding a Class 4 License and a Dangerous Goods License would be a plus, but not required
  • Familiarity with inventory management and logistics software, such as ERP systems or Cyltrack, is required
