The Role: Are you working in Production or Warehouse Operations and looking for a new challenge? Join our dynamic Operations team in Thomastown as a Filler/Operator! In this role, you'll be a key player in our operations, ensuring our products are delivered in full and on time while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. Imagine starting your day with an energizing team meeting, then diving into hands-on tasks like filling cylinders, conducting regular checks and maintenance. Your role will be dynamic and varied, keeping you engaged and challenged every day. You'll be the backbone of our operations, helping us exceed our customers' expectations and uphold our reputation for excellence.
Your responsibilities are, but not limited to;
- Perform pre-trip checks and vehicle condition reports to ensure everything is in top-notch condition.
- Fill cylinders with products according to daily orders and operate the test station as required.
- Sort, inspect, and label cylinders, ensuring they meet all safety and quality standards.
- Load pallets and trucks to fulfill daily orders, and deliver cylinders to branches, depots, and customer sites.
- Participate in engaging training sessions and team events to continuously enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Wrap up your day by completing all necessary paperwork and administrative tasks, ensuring everything is documented accurately.
- Working Monday to Friday, starting at 7AM until 3PM (or 9AM until 5PM)
- Permanent full time role of 38 hours per week, with an average overtime of 5 hours per week
- Rate per day: $33 to $35 per hour + super + bonus.
What We Need From You
- You must have a forklift license.
- If you have an HR license, that would be highly preferred.
- You have experience in a safety-oriented worksite and knowledge of dangerous goods handling, storage, and transportation.
- You possess strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to read and understand company procedures.
- You have a disciplined and diligent approach to work, with a focus on customer satisfaction and quality.
- You can work effectively within a team and build strong relationships with colleagues.
