The Role: Join our dynamic team in Auckland as a Technical Services Fitter! In this role, you will be responsible for the safe, accurate installation and ongoing maintenance of plant and equipment at both Coregas and customer sites. You will play a crucial role in ensuring operational safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.


Your Day:

  • Prepare, install, and maintain a wide range of plant and equipment, including gas and cryogenic piping, pumps, vessels, and cylinder systems.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service by providing responsive and knowledgeable support to customers.
  • Perform preventative and reactive maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.
  • Operate tools and technology safely and effectively, including welding machines, gas monitors, vacuum pumps, and mobile platforms.
  • Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance by adhering to all safety protocols and promoting a culture of safety.
  • Maintain quality and regulatory standards by complying with Coregas Quality Management System (QMS) and supporting internal and external audits
  • Complete administrative and general duties, including documentation and participation in business processes.
  • Permanent Full Time Role, working Monday to Friday, with guaranteed 40 hours of work


Who are you:

  • Trade qualification in a relevant field.
  • Forklift and DG endorsed driver’s license.
  • Preferable to have over 2 years of piping and industry experience, with exposure to compressed gas and cryogenic systems.
  • Proficiency in fitting and turning, MIG/TIG welding, and problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of piping systems, including basic design skills and the ability to draw engineering/workshop drawings.
  • Strong computer literacy and ability to complete digital documentation.
