Internal Sales Representative

As a division of Coregas, Blacksmith Jacks is a specialist in the industrial gas and welding industry. We also stock and supply a large range of hand tools, power tools, generators, PPE, welding consumables and more.

The Opportunity:

As a key member of our team, you will be the face of the business—delivering excellent service to customers while supporting showroom presentation, inventory accuracy, and order fulfilment. This is a varied and hands-on role where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service via phone, email, and in-person interactions
• Manage sales enquiries, quoting, and order processing efficiently
• Pick and Pack customer orders as required
• Put away receipted stock as required.
• Serve collect gas customers as required
• Maintain a well-presented showroom with accurate pricing and promotions
• Monitor stock levels, conduct stocktakes, and identify slow-moving items
• Good computer skills and experience using POS systems.
• Willing and able to work in a fast-paced environment, where you will be on your feet most of the day.
• Action daily backorders and follow up on customer enquiries to maximise sales
• A flexible can-do attitude and ability to adapt

About You

• Demonstrated experienced in a retail, sales or customer service environment, ideally from a trades/industrial background.
• A passion for providing excellent customer service and achieving sales targets
• Demonstrated ability of working safely, being accountable, acting ethically, and treating everyone with respect
• A flexible can-do attitude and ability to adapt
• Demonstrated ability to work well both in a team environment and independently
• Ability to undertake accurate stock counts and maintain high attention to detail
• Good computer skills and experience using POS systems.
• Willing and able to work in a fast-paced environment, where you will be on your feet most of the day
