The Role: You’ll be the on-site point of contact at hospital facilities, ensuring reliable gas supply, accurate cylinder management and outstanding customer service. This is a hands-on role combining driving, site-based services and administration.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service to hospital and healthcare customers
- Manage the end-to-end cylinder and gas supply process, including compressed gases and cryogenic liquids
- Deliver and distribute cylinders within hospital facilities and central gas stores
- Fill liquid nitrogen and other cryogenic liquids at customer sites
- Accurately process customer orders, invoicing and administrative documentation
- Use handheld scanners to ensure 100% accurate cylinder tracking
- Liaise with internal teams regarding delivery status, orders and customer enquiries
- Take payments for COD and credit card orders where required
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality, housekeeping and compliance
About you:
- Completion of Year 12 or relevant TAFE qualification
- Forklift license (required)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar service, operations or logistics-based role
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to engage hospital staff at all levels
- High attention to detail and strong administrative capability
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Comfortable working independently across multiple sites
- Safety focused with a proactive attitude
