The Role: This is an opportunity to join the Operations team at our Yennora site and help us deliver high-quality products and outstanding service to our customers. You will be in charge of scheduling trucks for local and interstate deliveries of Dangerous Goods.
Your Day:
- Undertake best practice vehicle scheduling activities for our Sydney operations fleet.
- Enforce compliance with company procedures as well as laws, regulations and industry standards in the area.
- Complete pre-trip checks and vehicle condition reports and identify vehicle maintenance requirements.
- Liase with internal & external customers
- Complete pre-planning loads & truck reconciliations
- Conducts regular checks and maintenance of cylinder barcodes.
- Responsible for scanning cylinders, packs and pallets using handheld scanners.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, trolleys, and other materials handling equipment.
- General manual handling will be required.
- Working Monday to Friday, starting at 8AM until 4:30PM
- Permanent full time role, with a potential of 5-10 hours per week of overtime
- Rate per day: $40.7 per hour + super + bonus
Who are you:
- Current Forklift Licence is preferable.
- HR Truck Licence is preferable.
- Experience in handling, storage and transportation.
- Commitment to working safely, being accountable, acting ethically, and treating everyone with respect.
- Willingness to work in a team environment.
- Computer literacy.
