As a Wesfarmers business, Coregas manufactures gases locally and distribute throughout Australia and New Zealand. Our compressed gases and cryogenic liquids are used for a huge range of applications including construction, healthcare, welding, research, food and beverages and clean energy.

What You Will Be Doing
Your responsibilities are, but not limited to;
- Understanding, executing and working towards safety responsibilities as advised in the appropriate legislations and company standards
- Identifying safety and health hazards, reporting all risks, incidents and near misses
- Complying to all facets of Coregas' QMS and Code of GMP, and understanding all products quality requirements
- Customer service; creating quote estimation, coordinating and executing system installing, and identifying improvement opportunities
- Ensuring completion of planned maintenance, record keeping, and other troubleshooting requirements
- Supporting MEX administrator to ensure accurate and timely record of maintenance activities
- Supporting Coregas operations team with project implementation on sites
- Abiding to safety working rules within customer sites as per required by appropriate standards, company policies, and legislation
- Ensuring adherence to financial scope/ control and budget
What We Need
In order to be considered for this role, you must have;
- A tertiary degree in mechanical, chemical, electrical engineering, or at least 5 years of equivalent trade experience
- At least 5 years' experience in industrial gas industry, with piping and other engineering skills
- Technical skills in compression fitting, tube bending, MIG/ TIG welding, power tools,
- Familiarity with or have knowledge on gas monitors and analysers, vacuum pumps, cryogenic pumps and gas compressors
- Basic ability draw workshop drawings
- Computer skills with various Microsoft Office softwares, MEX etc
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain rapport with stakeholders of all levels
- Entrepreneurial spirit and the highest level of integrity
