The Role: We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Specialist to grow and manage a designated territory, driving new business opportunities and delivering profitable growth across cylinder and bulk gas sales based at our Mayfield site.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, and win new business opportunities within Industrial territory.
  • Develop detailed costings and commercial proposals to maximize margin.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments
  • Prepare product proposals, tenders, quotations, and contract documents to the highest professional and commercial standard.
  • Manage sales accounts to budget, maintaining profitability through account selection and price rise implementation.
  • Retain and grow key accounts through proactive engagement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, depots, and distributors.

About You:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally within Industrial/ Healthcare Specialty or Technical environments
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, account management, and profit drivers
  • Ability to identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities
  • Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and relationship management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and effectively manage a sales territory
