The Role: Are you a proactive, solutions-focused driver ready to take ownership of a dynamic solo site Join our Waharoa Operations team as a Driver & Operations All-Rounder, where you'll do more than just deliveries—you’ll be the face of Coregas in the region, managing logistics, customer relationships, and site operations with autonomy and pride. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role that blends driving, operations, and service excellence. You’ll be trusted to think on your feet, solve challenges independently, and communicate effectively with head office and customers alike.


This isn’t your average driving job. You’ll be:

  • Running a regional site solo, with full responsibility for operations.
  • Acting as the local representative of Coregas, engaging with both internal and external customers.
  • Solving problems and finding solutions with support from head office.
  • Contributing to sales-minded service delivery and customer experience.



Your Day:

  • Safely delivering gas cylinders to branches, depots, and customer sites, while building strong relationships through professional customer interactions.
  • Identify vehicle maintenance requirements, complete pre-trip checks, and vehicle condition reports.
  • Batch, palletise, and load orders for delivery according to standard operating and safety procedures.
  • Maintain accurate inventory control and ensure all cylinders are correctly barcoded and scanned.
  • Complete all paperwork and administrative tasks required for cylinder delivery procedures
  • Permanent Full Time Role, working Monday to Friday, with guaranteed 40 hours of work.

 

Who are you:

  • You will have a Class 4 license (or higher) with experience driving trucks for at least 12 months.
  • Having a forklift licenses will be preferred, but not required
  • Since you will be transporting dangerous goods (DG), knowledge of DG transportation or holding a DG endorsed driver's license would be advantageous.
  • Your will be doing a physically demanding job with lifting and loading involved, so you must be physically fit for the role.
