The Role: We are looking for a superstar to join our team as Distribution Officer (internal title: CoreCare Service Officer) to provide exceptional customer service to our internal and external customers. You will primarily be responsible in supporting the safe delivery of liquid products around hospitals and other healthcare facilities, as well as its maintaining and management of processes and procedures.


What You Will Be Doing: In this role, you will be responsible in, but not limited to,

  • Acting as the first point of contact for hospital gas users service and support inquiries
  • Physically distributing cylinders within the hospital and/ or other customer sites, from the central gas store
  • Filling liquid nitrogen or other cryogenic liquids at the hospital facilities
  • Managing administrative tasks such as order processing, invoicing, data entry, etc, to ensure service runs reliably and efficiently as per service level with customers
  • Supporting hospital staff by providing training, advice and guidance
  • Completing month-end and mid-month financial requirement such as reconciliation of sales dockets, hand-held transactions, and stock transfers
  • Safely and efficiently operating fork-lift at hospital sites
  • Liaising with transport coordinator, Team Leaders and administration personnel to provide accurate information in regard to delivery status, back order status, account management and cylinder holdings
  • Ensuring a safe workplace for all Coregas team members and customers by maintaining compliance with the relevant safety standards, company policies, and legislations
  • Reporting all risks, hazards, incidents and near-misses as per procedures


About You: To be considered for this role, you must have/ be;

  • Year 12 HSC or a TAFE qualification
  • Fork-lift license (desirable)
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office software such as Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Unwavering commitment to customer service, safety and quality
  • Strong verbal and written communication skill, and ability to build and maintain rapport with internal and external stakeholders of all levels
  • Excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines without compromising safety and quality of work
  • Strong ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Able to travel across different customer sites on a regular basis
