Gas Delivery Driver & Service Technician

As a Gas Delivery Driver & Service Technician, you will be responsible for the safe delivery and handling of cryogenic liquid medical gases and dry ice to hospitals, medical centres, and healthcare customers.

As a key representative of the Coregas and Cryoserve brands, you will ensure every delivery and customer interaction is conducted safely, professionally, and in accordance with company procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

About the Role

As a Medical Gas Delivery Driver & Service Technician, you will be responsible for the safe delivery and handling of cryogenic liquid products, compressed gas cylinders, and dry ice to hospitals, medical centres, and healthcare customers.

You will represent the Coregas and Cryoserve brands during every customer interaction, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, professionally, and in accordance with company procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely deliver cryogenic liquid medical gases and dry ice to customer sites.
• Operate cryogenic tankers and associated delivery equipment in accordance with company procedures and safety requirements.
• Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with customers.
• Complete medical liquid vessel fills and delivery documentation accurately and on time.
• Use handheld technology to complete delivery and service activities.
• Support pipe freezing and shrink-fitting services following completion of training and competency assessments.
• Conduct vehicle inspections, housekeeping activities, and routine maintenance checks.
• Participate in safety initiatives, toolbox meetings, and continuous improvement programs.
• Maintain compliance with Coregas safety, quality, environmental, GMP, and healthcare customer requirements.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Essential

• Medium Rigid (MR) Driver Licence or higher
• Experience driving commercial vehicles in a customer-facing environment.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Basic computer skills and experience using mobile or electronic reporting systems.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain licences, qualifications, and competencies required for the role.

Desirable Qualification

• Dangerous Goods (DG) Licence.
• Forklift Licence.
• Experience handling cryogenic liquids or dangerous goods.
• Experience servicing healthcare, industrial, or technical customers.
• Experience working within a Safety, Quality, or GMP-regulated environment.
• Experience using handheld devices and electronic delivery systems.
