This role has the ownership, responsibility, and accountability for the delivery of safe, cost-effective, and quality E&I maintenance our our two Qld Production sites - Brisbane and Mackay.

We are seeking an Electrical Trades person to join our Brisbane (Darra) Production team, to provide E&I support to these facilities.

In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement of electrical and instrumentation systems supporting both the Darra and Mackay ASU facilities, while also providing technical support for our customer telemetry network.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Perform planned and breakdown maintenance of electrical and instrumentation equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve plant and equipment issues safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records using the MEX maintenance system.
  • Support and coordinate E&I maintenance activities at the Mackay ASU.
  • Configure and support customer telemetry systems and remote monitoring equipment.
  • Supervise electrical contractors and ensure compliance with site safety requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, reliability, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure all work complies with Coregas safety, quality and environmental standards.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Electrical Trade Qualification recognised in Australia.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong experience in electrical and instrumentation installation, maintenance and fault finding.
  • Competency in industrial safe work systems, including isolation, confined space and working at heights procedures.
  • Experience using electrical and instrumentation test equipment.
  • Strong computer skills and experience working with maintenance management systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.

Highly Regarded

  • Experience with HV systems and electrical motors.
  • Experience with telemetry, industrial automation or remote monitoring systems.
  • Forklift, EWP or other mobile equipment licences.
  • Welding, tube bending and piping experience.
