Bindery Operator - Contract

ConocoPhillips is a leading oil and gas company, which is hiring Bindery Operators for contract positions. The Bindery Operator will have knowledge of Quality, Safety and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for bindery equipment.

Bindery Operator / Position Summary:

• Have prior experience working in a printshop bindery
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Knowledge of Quality, Safety and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for bindery equipment
• Ability to operate and maintain all bindery equipment in the department which includes shrink wrapper, hole punchers, coil machines, booklet maker, score machine, laminators, round corner machine, padding machine, folder, business card cutter and paper cutter.
• Arrive to work ON TIME
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and a high degree of initiative
• Ability to read and follow print ticket instructions
• Strong organizational, time management and multi-tasking/priority setting skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Reliability due to business-critical operations
• Hard-Working
• Quick Learner
• Willing to do what is necessary to get the job done accurately and on time
• Quality Conscious
• Team Player
