The role

Sitting within our Shared Services division, the Workforce Planner will report to the Workforce Planning & Scheduling Team Leader and will act as a critical point of contact in delivering services through the allocation of our workforce to clients.

Specifically, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Identifying and maintaining scheduling requirements i.e. staff availability, staffing lists and clients requirements
  • Facilitate the allocation of schedules for permanent and casual support workers
  • Support our support workers outside of simply shift management to assist in building strong engagement and rapport with workers
  • Coordinate all new client/participant intakes and establish a schedule for the next 7 days
  • Drive action-oriented problem solving to address urgent shift needs and gaps which may arise due to shift cancellations and urgent new client placements
  • Maintain alignment of schedules with industrial award requirements
  • Data and reporting activities such as preparing weekly, monthly & quarterly updates as well as driving the use of Salesforce and leveraging the CRM to paint a picture for business reporting requirement 

About you

As the Workforce Planner, you thrive in a fast-paced working environment where you can showcase your ability to manage multiple priorities. You enjoy building relationships and have the energy and drive to simply 'pick up the phone' and connect with people no matter the reason!

In addition, here is what else will set you apart:

  • Demonstrated experience within a scheduling/rostering role is ideal however, we are even open to candidates who come from customer service environments
  • Excellent communication skills; both written and oral
  • A strong willingness to learn and hunger for growth

Nice to have (but not a deal-breaker):

  • Previous exposure with Salesforce (our bread and butter!)
  • Previous experience within an NDIS organisation particularly working with awards related to a field-based business

Note: the successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment checks including a Police and a Working with Children Check.
