Together, we provide a seamless, customer-focused experience that makes it easier for Australians to find the right products to suit their needs.

What You’ll Be Doing

This is a broad, hands-on advisory role where you’ll partner closely with teams across Money, Life Insurance, Marketing, Product, Customer Experience and Commercial. You’ll provide practical compliance advice, challenge thinking when needed, and help ensure regulatory requirements are considered from the outset across customer journeys, campaigns, projects and day-to-day operations.

Reporting into our GM of Risk and Compliance you’ll:

  • Provide specialist ACL and AFSL compliance advice across our Money and Life Insurance businesses
  • Review changes to customer journeys and provide practical compliance guidance
  • Partner with Marketing, Product, Customer Experience and Commercial teams to review marketing materials and activities
  • Provide compliance oversight of customer-facing scripts for our Contact Centres
  • Develop and maintain compliance scorecards to support effective monitoring and reporting
  • Review partner contracts and identify potential regulatory risks
  • Provide SME advice on compliance incidents, remediation and regulatory considerations
  • Support teams with IDR and EDR complaints across Money and Life Insurance

What’s In It For You

At Compare the Market and iSelect, we’re all about helping people make smart choices – and joining us might just be yours. We offer an environment where your ideas are heard, your contributions are valued, and your growth genuinely matters. Collaboration is part of our DNA and you’ll be joining a supportive, forward-thinking team where you can do meaningful work (and be recognised for it!)

We’re guided by three shared values that shape how we work, how we treat each other, and how we show up for our customers - Drive, Noble Intent and All Together.

Plus, we offer a range of great perks to help you thrive both in and out of work:

  • Vibrant and social community who have annual celebrations, family fun days and regular events
  • Enjoy flexible work arrangements, including the option of one day working from home each week or a 9-day fortnight
  • Enjoy additional leave days - ‘ME’ leave and ‘Volunteer Day’ leave
  • Free coffee on Mondays
  • Option to purchase additional leave
  • Return To Work bonus for returning parents
  • Quarterly Award and Recognition program

What Sets You Apart

You’ll be an experienced compliance professional who is comfortable partnering with senior leaders. Just as importantly, you’ll know how to take complex regulatory requirements and turn them into advice that makes sense in a commercial environment.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

  • 5+ years’ compliance advisory experience (ideally having done this across home lending, consumer credit or insurance)
  • Strong knowledge of relevant consumer lending and life insurance regulatory frameworks
  • Experience within an AFSL and ACL-regulated environment
  • The ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into practical business advice
  • Experience with compliance monitoring and risk management frameworks
  • A collaborative, pragmatic approach and the ability to work across multiple projects and priorities
