About Us:

Are you passionate about classic pub fare with a modern twist? The Commercial Hotel in the heart of Kingaroy serves up a well-rounded menu that blends traditional Aussie pub favourites with contemporary bistro flair. We serve lunch and dinner 7 days a week in our newly refurbished dining spaces including the bar, beer garden, and The Nest.

The Role:

• Assisting our team in maintaining an efficient and proactive kitchen operation across both venues
• Ensuring all meals are of high quality and are prepared in a timely manner
• Utilising a variety of fresh, frozen and prepared ingredients to prepare, cook and present a range of dishes according to a seasonal menu
• Practicing effective stock rotation and wastage minimisation procedures
• Assisting with menu changes when required

Successful Candidate:

• Previous experience in a fast-paced commercial kitchen
• Availability to work any hospitality hours
• Ability to work well under a high-pressure environment
• Brilliant communication skills with all team members
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
