Retail Manager

The Commercial Hotel is looking for a Retail Manager to oversee the onsite Bottle shop

As the Retail Manager, you will be primarily responsible for the efficient and profitable running of the Hotel Bottle Shops. 

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Managing the daily operations of the Bottle Shop
• Ensuring ongoing cleanliness & maintenance of stores areas and equipment
• Preparing displays & presenting stock, including specials and accurate ticket writing
• Ensuring competitive stock pricing and maintaining stock control
• Participating in the review, development, and marketing of innovative services / promotional initiatives to maintain an edge in the marketplace and grow the business
• Providing direct supervision of team members
• Ensuring the financial profitability of the Retail operations by maintaining wages, GP and turnover in line with agreed budget.
• Observing and complying with relevant Legislation, Regulations and Waymark Policies and Procedures

The following skills, behaviours, and qualifications are essential:

• 3 years experience in Liquor Retail Management would be desired but not essential
• Demonstrates a highly focused attitude to internal and external customer needs, responding proactively to needs at all times
• Ability to direct and lead team members and maintain responsible and efficient staffing levels
