Cognitus seeks Payroll Accounting Consultant – HR Mini Master to join our team in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico.

 

The SAP HR–ADP Integration Lead is responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting the HR Mini Master data and payroll data integration between SAP S/4HANA and ADP payroll platforms. This role ensures accurate, secure, and timely transfer of employee master data to support payroll, time, and benefits processing across the enterprise and posting ADP payroll results to SAP S/4HANA.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

·      Design and configure HR Mini Master data extracts from SAP HCM or SuccessFactors (Hire, Rehire, Transfer, Termination).

·      Build and support integrations to ADP (e.g., GlobalView, Workforce Now) using SAP CPI/PI/PO, APIs, or secure file transfers.

·      Support integration to post payroll results into SAP FI/CO from ADP data.

·      Work with FI/CO team and provide GL accounts, cost centers, and document splitting requirement to support payroll/labor postings and reporting.

·      Define and maintain data mappings, code translations, effective dating rules, and delta logic.

·      Configure and monitor IDocs, APIs, SFTP/PGP encryption, and middleware error handling.

·      Partner with HR, Payroll, and ADP teams to align payroll calendars, cutoffs, and retro-processing.

·      Lead integration testing, payroll parallel runs, reconciliation, and cutover/hypercare support.

·      Ensure compliance with data security, privacy (PII/GDPR), and audit requirements.

·      Produce interface design documents, data dictionaries, and operational runbooks.

  

 

Skills & Qualifications

Required

·      7+ years in SAP HR/HCM or SuccessFactors with hands-on integration experience.

·      Strong expertise in SAP CPI or PI/PO, IDocs (HRMD*), APIs, and file-based integrations.

·      Knowledge of SAP HR Info types and experience with related configurations.

·      Proven FI/CO proficiency for payroll and labor postings.

·      Experience integrating SAP HR data with ADP payroll platforms.

·      Solid understanding of payroll concepts, effective dating, and HR master data governance.

·      Strong troubleshooting, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

Preferred

·      S/4HANA or SuccessFactors Compound Employee API experience

·      Multi-country or global payroll integration exposure

·      Prior payroll parallel testing and hypercare ownership

·      S/4HANA FI/CO experience

·      Experience with SAP or ERP transformation programs (S/4HANA, Ariba, or similar).

·      Experience supporting multi-partner delivery models (SI + client + vendors).

·      Knowledge of Agile, hybrid, and waterfall delivery frameworks.

 Education:

·      Bachelor's Degree or Master’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science or Information Systems

Travel:

Willingness to travel as needed to client sites, company offices, or project locations support delivery and stakeholder engagement.
