SAP SCM (Ariba) Associate Consultant

Cognitus seeks SAP SCM (Ariba) Associate Consultant to join our team in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico.

We are seeking driven professionals with 3-6 years of experience in SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM) & SAP Ariba Solutions. If you have a strong background in operational supply chain processes and a proven ability to deliver impactful SAP solutions, we invite you to apply. Experience in the Aerospace & Defense (A&D) sector is advantageous but not required.

Roles & Responsibilities

·      Support requirement‑gathering activities for procurement, inventory, planning, and logistics processes.

·      Assist with configuration in relevant SAP SCM modules (MM, PP, SD, WM/EWM).

·      Experience with Ariba modules such as Buying & Invoicing, Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier Lifecycle & Performance (SLP), and/or Ariba Network.

·      Strong understanding of Source-to-Pay (S2P) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) business processes.

·      Document business processes, functional requirements, and configuration steps.

·      Perform initial troubleshooting and escalate complex issues to senior consultants.

·      Prepare and execute test cases for unit, integration, and UAT testing cycles.

·      Support supply chain master data activities (materials, vendors, BOMs, routings, storage locations).

·      Help with data migration tasks, including validation and reconciliation.

·      Participate in workshops, design discussions, and user training sessions.

·      Assist with cutover activities and provide go‑live support for supply chain processes.

·      Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth process integration.

·      Continuously learn SAP SCM and S/4HANA innovations to improve solution quality.

 Required Skills

·      Understanding of core supply chain processes (procurement, inventory, planning, logistics).

·      Foundational knowledge of key SAP modules such as MM, PP, & SD.

·      Ability to configure and support SAP Ariba solutions based on business and operational needs.

·      Experience integrating SAP Ariba with SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ECC environments.

·      Ability to support basic configuration activities under guidance.

·      Understanding of supply chain master data (materials, vendors, BOMs, routings).

·      Ability to analyze business requirements and map them to SAP processes.

·      Basic troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.

·      Strong testing capabilities

·      Ability to prepare documentation, process flows, and test scripts.

·      Awareness of integration across logistics and finance processes.

·      Clear communication and teamwork abilities.

·      Attention to detail and willingness to learn SAP SCM and S/4HANA innovations.

Education:

·      Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.

·      Bilingual

Travel:

Willingness to travel as needed to client sites, company offices, or project locations support delivery and stakeholder engagement.
