We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Essendon DFO, supporting the Store Manager in driving store performance, leading a high-performing team, and bringing the Coach brand to life every day.

About the Role

As Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in delivering an elevated customer experience while supporting all aspects of store operations. You will lead from the front, inspire your team to achieve sales goals, and foster a positive and inclusive culture that reflects the Coach brand.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced retail leader looking to further develop their management career within a globally recognised luxury retail brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager in achieving sales, KPI, and profitability targets
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences and champion Coach's luxury service standards
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members to maximise performance and engagement
  • Drive clienteling initiatives and build long-term customer relationships
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, and succession planning
  • Support inventory management, visual merchandising, and store presentation standards
  • Ensure operational excellence, compliance, and loss prevention practices are maintained
  • Act as Store Manager in their absence, confidently overseeing daily operations

About You

You are a motivated retail leader who thrives in a fast-paced customer-focused environment.

To be successful, you will have:

  • Previous experience in an Assistant Store Manager, Supervisor, or Team Leader role
  • Proven ability to drive sales performance and achieve KPIs
  • Strong coaching and people leadership skills
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service
  • Experience working in premium, fashion, luxury, or lifestyle retail environments is highly regarded
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Tuesday to Saturday roster
