Coach is seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Store Manager to join our Manawa Bay team on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract to cover maternity leave. This is an exciting opportunity for a retail leader who thrives in a fast‑paced, premium environment and enjoys motivating a team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

About the Role

As the Assistant Store Manager, you will support the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, team leadership, and customer service. You’ll help drive sales performance, maintain operational excellence, and foster a positive team culture that aligns with the Coach brand.

This role is ideal for an energetic, hands-on leader who can confidently step into a key leadership position and contribute to the store’s ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations and act as the store leader in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Drive sales results by coaching, motivating, and developing the retail team.
• Foster a luxury customer experience, ensuring every client feels welcomed, valued, and inspired.
• Assist with staff training, rostering, performance management, and visual merchandising.
• Maintain operational standards including inventory management, stock accuracy, and store presentation.
• Contribute to creating a positive, inclusive, and results‑driven team culture.

• Previous experience in retail leadership (Assistant Store Manager or Supervisor level ideal).
• Strong ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
• Passion for luxury retail, customer experience, and brand storytelling.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organisational skills.
• A proactive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Availability for a 6‑month fixed‑term contract ( Sunday to Thursday roster)
