About the role

We are looking for a detail-oriented team player to fill the position of a Precontracts Administration Assistant.

This person must be able to handle a high volume of work, manage multiple tasks, consistently produce quality work, and contribute to impending deadlines.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Preparation and submission of tenders, expressions of interest, post tender correspondence and presentations;
  • Communicating with suppliers and subcontractors regarding pricing requests and tender deliverables;
  • Liaising with Senior Management and key staff to obtain content required for submissions, project datasheets, resumes and the like, all within set timeframes;
  • Assist with Business Development opportunities, updating and maintaining registers;
  • Formatting and proofing to ensure consistency across submissions, correspondence, and presentations;
  • Maintaining internal database, registers, and various tender libraries;
  • General office assistance as required.


About you

As the successful candidate you will have:

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in an administrative or similar position;
  • Advanced Microsoft Word skills;
  • Ability to research, source and analyse content required for tenders;
  • Excellent attention to detail (a must for this position);
  • Understanding and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams);
  • Strong communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks;
  • Ability to work under pressure, and to strict deadlines;
  • Exposure to Visio & InDesign will be highly regarded;
  • Experience within the construction industry will be highly regarded.
