We are currently seeking skilled and motivated individuals to fill positions as Multi-skilled Operators, Drainage Workers, and Labourers. Plus, if you are within 30 minutes of our projects, we have 10.5 – 11-hour days available.


  • Ongoing projects in the Gympie, Pomona, Yandina, and Eumundi areas.
  • Great Rates + Penalties
  • Be home every night on a 5/2 Roster.

About the Role

We are looking for enthusiastic, energetic, self-motivated Operators/Construction Workers with an RII qualification on various plant including Moxy, Excavator, Loader, Backhoe, and Roller, as well as people to join our drainage and labouring teams.

You will have the opportunity to work with supportive teams and experienced supervisors to help guide you across the projects.

We have multiple positions available to commence immediately with attractive wage rates as well as penalty rates.

The roles will initially be based on our ongoing projects in the area, but as always with CMC, you will have the opportunity to travel and work on various other projects throughout Qld and NSW.

About You

To join our team you will need the following:


  • Hold your RII to operate roller qualification as a minimum;
  • Have a valid 'C' class manual driver's license and your own transport;
  • A solid track record of being reliable, organised, and punctual;
  • Be physically fit, ready, and able to work outside in the field and able to pass a pre-employment medical (including functional and drug and alcohol screening);
  • Possess sound problem-solving skills;
  • Happy to work as part of a team;
  • Able to take and apply instructions to complete tasks;
  • Have a willingness to learn;
  • Be hard-working and self-motivated;
  • Able to adapt to and work with all types of people;
  • Have a strong commitment to safety.
