About the role

As our new Financial Accountant, you’ll play a key support role in a finance team that thrives on integrity, accuracy, and insightful reporting. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, diving into data, and working alongside leaders who value expertise and initiative.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll:

• Manage the general ledger and ensure accurate, timely reporting;
• Lead financials for subsidiary entities and support broader group financial functions;
• Maintain cashflow forecasts and oversee banking administration;
• Assist in preparing regulatory reports (BAS, FBT, ABS) and audit documentation;
• Contribute to policy improvement and ensure compliance with financial standards.

About you

Ideally you will have the following:

• A degree in Commerce, Business, or Accounting;
• Be currently undertaking, planning to commence, or having completed postgraduate qualifications such as CA or CPA;
• Have 3-5 years in a similar role, preferably in construction or infrastructure;
• Possess strong Excel skills and experience with Vista/Viewpoint, Xero, and Power BI;
• Be natural collaborator with a keen eye for detail and continuous improvement.
